I edited the background.  It looked like the previous. The whole point of building the lightbox was to make edits later quick and easy.  It works.

We have quite afew of the set, all the relevant ones at least.  I’m not much for knickknacks but I do like these.

Is absolutely perfect.   It’s my typing that sucks.  I’d say my fingers have dyslexia.

Really it’s more a combination of a bit of arthritis and the fact that I have pretty much zero sensation in my fingertips.  Add in that a bunch of the keys on my keyboard have worn blank and I sometimes glance at the keyboard to get my bearings.  Plus, I don’t touch-type, it is more of a speedy hunt and peck, low on hunting. I may or may not fix typos as I see them.

-26C  Feels like -39C.  That’s colder than when I woke up.

The other night  there was a beautiful low moon.  Wife spotted it and i went out to take a few pics.

I decided to use my cheap kit lens since it was super cold and I didn’t want to risk damage to an expensive one.  I have no idea what their tolerances are but when it’s cold I tend to keep the camera shoved inside my jacket.  Can’t do that at night since I need the tripod and long exposures.

As a result I just didn’t capture the beauty of the moon.  Someday I’ll get it.  Here’s a pic I did get though with a 10 sec exposure, adjusted the white balance only.

Farted around a bit today.  Created the left side menu and switched over to using CSS.  Also cleaned up the source files to be pretty and added comments for easy time when I go to edit.  Should help with cut and paste too as I add more links to the menu.

For a vn contest.  It wasn’t within the rules, too bad.   Kiddo had fun watching me do it though so it was worthwhile.

Winter Wonderland

And a few of the text colors changed.  I’m still trying to find some in the CSS.  Sneaky things.

Apparently I have to learn CSS just to change the background colour of posts.  So far changing every ‘likely’ colour entry and adding them all over the place doesn’t do it.  This is a rant about my incompetence apparently, I’m sure a master web developer could easily change the colours.

Updated: Heh, it’s not even the CSS, it’s the background images.
